Myanmar is in tropical monsoon climate region and has only three seasons: Cool, Hot and Rainy seasons. The cool season is from November to February which is the most comfortable time to visit and the temperature is normally between 18(64.4) to 34(93.2). This season is the least humidity during the year. It is the peak season for tourism industry so everything will be expensive for the travellers. The hot season is from March to May and the temperature is generally between 22(71.6) to 36(96.8). During this season, there is Myanmar most popular festival called Thingyan (water festival), also known as Myanmar New Year, and which celebrate in April. The rainy season is from June to October and the temperature is usually between 24(75.2) to 31(87.8). It is not only the most humidity season throughout the year but also the low season for tourism industry. This might be good for people who don’t like crowds but like green. It is cheaper and many places offer promotions. The rain is less intense in September and October than June to August so better choose to come these months if you plan to come in rainy season. However, the temperature and humidity can vary significantly depend upon the place you visit.
