The city of Nyaung Shwe is an essential resting spot for any backpackers, tourists and local travelers. For those who would love to go trekking, this is indeed a perennial favorite, that is strategically located beside the Inn Lay lake. After travelling through the mountains and forests, as well as participating in activities such as horse riding and rowing of boats, a good place to take a break in from all the exhaustion would surely be needed. There is a spa called the Aqua Lilies that you should visit and have a relaxing escape in when you get back from Nyaung Shwe.

The Aqua Lilies spa has two branches, both of which are so close to each other that you can even walk from one to the other with relative ease. The first and older one offers an extra category of service wherein you can have massage served in the traditional way. The second and newer one opened with a restaurant. The older one is decorated in a traditional way, while the newer one is in a more modern theme. For this time, I brought my mother along with me into my relaxing journey.

When it comes to spas, the most worrying thing for me is actually the food. It could take a while when enjoying oneself in a spa, while relaxing the body and soul. Of course, nobody wants to go to a spa that does not have any nearby restaurants, since you will definitely get hungry sooner or later. This spa stands out from all the others, as it opened with an adjacent restaurant.

Another good point is that they only allow girls, so females can feel more comfortable and free. The service girls are also very polite and take good care of the visitors. The rooms have good privacy and are also quite neat and clean. You can leave all of your worries behind, and enjoy some time for yourself with absolute comfort and relaxation.

Plus, you can also have your nails painted. There is also the body spa, traditional massage, as well as face and body steaming services that are available. You can become your new self there. My mom fell asleep while she was at the spa treatment. 

By the time that she woke up, she felt really refreshed, and she said that her skin got much clearer than before. We also went to the Garden Restaurant, which was open nearby as we were quite hungry.

You can get started with some pizza from the European menu, which has a nice quality and cleanliness to it, while feeling like a homemade meal.

I would like to suggest that you pay a visit to the Aqua Lilies spa after having your adventure times at Nyaung Shwe. You should take good care of your body after doing some travelling. The Aqua Lily spa would be a great option to not miss out from.
