Many people might think that The Grit is only for adults, or that it’s only a scene for certain people (Axe throwing hulk maybe?. But really, it’s the perfect hobby for almost anyone (as long as you can hold an axe). Children 13 and up are welcomed at The Grit as long as they are accompanied by an adult. People don’t need any experience in axe throwing, being as The Grit has highly qualified staff that will teach you how to throw like a pro in no time. Plus, it’s a lot easier than you’d think. Especially when you have built up anger you need to get rid of. The Grit is the ideal place for parties, socials, birthdays, anything! You can rent out the whole shop for 1.5Lyak, which is enough space for 30-40 people or, you can play at 5000kyat a person.


If axe throwing really isn’t your thing, then we’ve got you covered. Along with axe throwing, there is a PS4 center set up in the back, equipped with all the bells and whistles. There are many games to choose from, and more being added all the time. Some of the games offered are Mortal Combat, Fever, Call of Duty, and more.

Another reason to check out The Grit, is that the focus is on you. Customers get to choose the music, people can bring any food and drinks they’d like, or they can choose from the selection of drinks and beers served in the shop. They also have freshly made popcorn that is the perfect snack to enjoy while playing with friends. If you’re having a good time, then the staff are doing their job, so don’t hesitate to ask for your own music, or to play with the many props all around the shop.
