There is no doubt that Daw-Na mountain range is one of the unmissable destinations when we travel to Kayin State, but we surely forget about Mount Mu-La-Ei which is a part of the high-reaching peaks of Daw-Na Mountain. Unpeaceful environment, difficulty in transportation and no frequent visitors has led Mount Mu-La-Ei to become forgotten by most of the travelers and tourists. Only a few local people reach to Mount Mu-La-Ei because of those inconveniences.

As for myself, I didn’t know much about Mount Mu-La-Ei expect for the name. I only knew that it was situated at one of the highest peaks of Daw-Na mountain last year. I have to admit that I know about this mountain from the post of a Thai travel blogger so it was quite strange for me as I didn’t know that Mount Mu-La-Ei is quite favored by most of the bloggers from Thailand. I made my decision immediately at that point for such a shame that I felt from what I didn’t aware of that beautiful mountain. So, I planned to go explore Mount Mu-La-Ei for the very first time with all of my curiosity.

Firstly, I researched everything for the trip and came to know that one of my friends is also planning to go there so I decided to accompany him. Then, we made a group of altogether five people to travel to Mount Mu-La-Ei.

By the way, I noticed one weird fact about this mountain is that it has been in my wish-list to go see for quite a long time but I didn’t realize suddenly as I can be pretty forgetful sometimes.

Enough for the talk, now let’s start my diary of traveling to Mount Mu-La-Ei.
