It is located within the Pyay Road and Kaba Aye Pagoda Road where you can find the lake very easily. It usually takes approximately two hours for walking around the lake. Yangon Sailing Club and Myanmar Yachting Federation (founded in 1956) are based on the lake to do the activities. That's why you can do the activities like canoeing, kayaking and sailing in the lake. The admission fee is 20000 Kyats per person. You can join Myanmar Rowing & Canoeing Federation that located on the Inya Street.

If you don't know how to paddle, they will guide you patiently till you get the point. You can paddle in your own kayak as long as you want in the lake. Kayak paddle has two blades which are the main parts that you use to pull your kayak through the water and the face of the paddle is the part to pull through the water. You can use that paddle to go forward, backward or can even go to the directions that you prefer to go. If you push your paddle hardly, you will go faster. These are the kayak paddling techniques that I have learned from the experienced guides. Kayaking is not that difficult if you know well about the know-how techniques. If you can use these techniques skillfully in the water, all of your stresses and worries will be gone.
