Monsoon Restaurant and Bar is a stylish cafe & restaurant with a high-class atmosphere with colonial style in Yangon city. We can eat various Asian dishes such as Thai, Vietnamese, Cambodian and Laos cuisines as well as Myanmar cuisine.
Group tourists often seem to visit at Monsoon Restaurant and Bar, and some of the staff also can speak languages of other countries such as English and Japanese.
They also have a business lunch set almost on a monthly basis, so customers can eat lunch set differently at 8,000 Kyat everyday from Monday to Friday.
Laphet Thoke famous for Myanmar (The leaves salad with dried shrimps, peanuts, garlic and sesame seeds) is elegantly made with less taste than general one, even if the people who eat the first time about Myanmar cuisine are definitely satisfied. (2,900 kyat)
Monsoon Restaurant and Bar recommend Prawn Curry called Pazunsate Sebyan. In Myanmar, shrimp food can be seen often at many places because shrimp can be taken well. Even in Monsoon Restaurant, classic prawn curry is offered, then it looks red and very spicy, but there is not much pungent taste, you can enjoy a different elegant taste unlike fatty taste foods which often found in stand restaurants and homes.
