Aung Bar Lay”, means “May You Win”, launched in 1938 under British rule, is the only legal form of gambling in Myanmar.
Towards the end of each month, there are pushcart vendors on the streets in Yangon, playing soft music and attracting to anyone who wants to try their luck to sell the state-run-lottery tickets.
Tickets can be purchased starting from the first day of each month and there are many prizes can be expected.
