Shwedagon pogoda The Shwedagon Pagoda is one of the wonders of the world. It is not only a landmark which can be viewed from any corner of the city of Yangon but also stands in a commanding position as the beautiful beacon of Myanmar. It is a type of temple typically comprising of a tower with the multiple levels. The massive golden structure is a signature of Shwedagon Pagoda and it is surrounded by many small shrines, pagodas and buildings. The height of the Pagoda is 105m (344 ft.) from the top of “Singuttara Hill”.
