Telenor also offers Tourist SIM (www.telenor.com.mm/en/personal/tourist-sim) which cost 15,000 MMK (Tax inclusive) and pre-loaded with 1,500 Kyats credit, 5GB data and 50 minutes local calls to any providers valid for 14 days. If you prefer to buy the Tourist SIM, you should better buy at the airport upon your arrival. Most of the Hotels, Guest houses, Restaurants, Cafes, Bars offer free Wi-Fi but internet speeds are unstable sometimes and can be slow especially in rural areas.
