Have you ever heard of U Thant? It doesn’t matter that you know or not. But you will definitely know who he is by the time you leave Myanmar. That is very new museum which have closed for many years but it is now open not only as a museum but also as Educational Research Center. U Thant House is a Centre for learning and discussion on national, global challenges and their relevance for Myanmar’s future. It is also a museum dedicated to the life and work of U Thant who was the third Secretary-General of the United Nations (UN) and lifelong public servant, educator and writer.
