Ippudo was founded in 1985 in Hakata, Fukuoka, Japan and opened the first restaurant in Myanmar on 11 April 2017. It is the award-winning Japanese ramen restaurant. It has over 85 branches within Japan and more than 80 restaurants globally in New York, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, China, Sydney, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Philippines, London, Paris and Myanmar. Ippudo made every soup base, Kaeshi (Japanese flavoring base for noodle), noodles and Chashu (stewed pork) in very unique way with the best selected ingredients to get the perfect taste. It basically has 6 types of ramen with 7 types of additional toppings and 2 serving size of Kaedama (additional noodles). There are 4 types to choose the hardness of the noodle upon your reference. Moreover, there are appetizers, a la carte menus, desserts, fresh juices, beers and other beverages. They are now offering 2 types of value box when you ordered the selected ramen. In addition, there are 2 more types of seasonal ramen and seasonal menus. If you are a Japanese Sake lover, there will be 3 types of Sake offering at Ippudo. It also linked with “Yangon Door 2 Door” delivery service.

Amazing gem of a restaurant

This place was pretty filled up when I visited. The main dining area has an ambiance that is very homely and inviting. The place is cozy and has a nice laid back charm to it, added by the gentle and polite service of the staff. Ordered ramen with a plethora of sides and topping. and it was really great. The food was fabulous as were the refreshments. Will definitely go back
