There are so many teashops in Yangon Region. Among them, Lucky Seven is very senior and classic teashop but it still very popular among locals. It was first opened about 20 years ago and the food menu & the decoration were upgraded according by the trends. Now, Lucky Seven has 5 branches throughout Yangon. Although it is Burmese Tea shop, you can enjoy the Indian and Chinese food. Nowadays, Tourism groups often come and enjoy their Tea shop. The tourists from European countries love to eat Noe-Sein-Khout-Swal (Fresh Milk Noodle) and tourists from Asian countries love to eat Mexican Fried Chicken Wings. The popular menus for locals are Mont-Hin-Ga, Puri with mutton curry, Potato Puri and Myanmar tea. Most of their staffs are teenagers who are very active, helpful and friendly.

They have their own special menu and they only use healthy oil and no MSG so you can eat without any worries. I recommend Samusa Salad and also sticky noodle with pork ribs are very delicious.You can also feel the tea shop culture of burmese people and they have separate place for people who smoke especially in Ahlone Branch.

A great tea shop in Yangon

I often go this tea shop. Although I don't like tea, most family members like their tea. Especially my mom, she always want to drink tea from this shop. However, I like coffee from them. It's taste really good not like ready made coffee. From this tea shop, I also like their potato curry. But I don't like their services - waiters are very bad in communication.
