Restaurant Overview
Most of the hot pot eaters love to eat at Shwe Lar which is always crowded and always have to wait for your turn. They offer 5 kinds of soup bases (Original, Spicy, Hot Spicy, Kimchi and Tomato). Tomato soup needs to pay extra 500 Kyats and many varieties of ingredients that you can choose upon your preferences. The menus include the vegetables, mushrooms, seafood, imported meat & fish balls, fresh meats, rice and noodles. Moreover, they have some cold beverages and also offer the set menus from 8000 Kyats to 16000 Kyats. Their popular hot pot ingredients are pork meat balls, pork neck, shrimp cake and fish wonton. Many kinds of hot pot sauces are available and you are free to mix any kind of sauce you want. They have 8 more branches in Yangon: Dagon, Thamine, Sanchaung, 6.5 miles, Hlaing Thar Yar (Ocean), North Dagon, Yae Kyaw and St. John City Mall. They also have 2 more branches in other town: Mandalay and Mawlamying. Only the branch at St. John City Mall offers the premium hot pot & BBQ.
